Fees, licenses and permits — See Ch. 294.
No person or corporation shall own, maintain or operate a barbershop without first obtaining a license from the Board of Health, the fee for which shall be five dollars ($5.). The license shall expire December 31 of each year and shall be renewed during the following month of January at the same fee.[1]

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty of not less than five dollars ($5.) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.) for each violation. Each day a particular violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
