It is declared and found that the Township contains property known as
Block 8.02, Lot 25.01, located on N.J. Routes 202 and 179 where an agricultural
fair and exhibition is held by an association organized for the purpose of
holding agricultural fairs and exhibitions which is subject to approval by
the State Department of Agriculture.
A.Â
Any person seeking to operate any amusement game or games
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-100 et seq. within the Township shall obtain a license
to do so from the State Amusement Games Control Commissioner after the application
is first approved by the Township Committee, and the license shall be issued
subject to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 5:8-100 et. seq.

Once issued, each license shall be conspicuously displayed
at the place or places where the game of amusement is to be conducted at all
times during the conduct thereof.
An applicant for an amusement game must use the application form prescribed
by the State Amusement Games Control Commission, a copy of which shall be
available from the Township Clerk, which must contain:

The full name of the applicant;
B.Â
Complete address and phone number of the applicant (must
be verifiable);
C.Â
The name and address of the registered agent in New Jersey
upon whom service of process may be served;
D.Â
If a corporation, the complete name, address and phone
number of the officer(s);
E.Â
The completed disclosure of compensation;
F.Â
The exact location of the game;
G.Â
The proper name of the game and its certification number;
H.Â
The complete name and address of the landlord and owner
of the premises;
I.Â
Completed affidavit;
J.Â
Notarized signature(s).
A.Â
Each individual applicant, the officers (including the
officers, directors and stockholders of any corporation holding 5% or more
stock) of any corporate applicant, as well as the partners or members of any
partnership, association or organization applicant shall be fingerprinted
under the supervision of the New Jersey State Police Department, Kingwood
Barrack.
B.Â
No license shall be issued to any applicant if any of
the persons fingerprinted in connection with the application are not of good
moral character or have ever been convicted of a crime.
The fee for the license, which shall accompany the application, shall
be in the amount established by state statute, as amended from time to time
for each license. A separate license shall be required for each game.
Organizations, societies and associations duly licensed to hold and
operate legalized games of chance under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 5:8-50
et seq. are authorized to hold, conduct and operate authorized games of chance
in the Township on Sundays.
