This Article shall be known and may be cited as the "Florence Township/Florence Board of Education Joint Purchasing Agreement."
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10(b) and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-12, the Township of Florence is hereby authorized to enter into a joint purchasing agreement with the Florence Township Board of Education. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a joint purchasing agreement with the Florence Township Board of Education whereby the Florence Township Board of Education will act as the lead agency for the purpose of the purchase of general paper supplies and recreation equipment supplies.
The Florence Township Board of Education is the lead agency entering into contracts on the behalf of the Township of Florence and shall be responsible for complying with all the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40:11-1 et seq.) and all other provisions of the revised statutes of the State of New Jersey.
