The purpose of this article is to regulate parking
along Hamden River Road.
Hamden River Road has become a functional dead-end
street due to the destruction of a bridge over the river. In order
to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the residents
of the Township and other persons who utilize Hamden River Road, the
regulation of parking is necessary.
A.
Parking on Hamden River Road shall be prohibited as
follows:
(1)
On the westerly side of Hamden River Road from its
intersection with Lower Landsdowne Road southerly to the intersection
with the county bridge.
(2)
On the easterly side of Hamden River Road beginning
at a point 362 feet from the intersection of the center line of Lower
Landsdowne Road and Hamden River Road to the intersection with the
county (southerly) bridge.
B.
All vehicles shall park facing in a northerly direction.
The Township Engineer shall cause to be placed
such signs as are necessary to effectuate the provisions herein.
Any person who violates this article shall be
subject to fines and penalties as prescribed by law.
