The purpose of this article is to protect the
health, safety and welfare of Borough residents and the motoring public
by prohibiting the placement of basketball poles, hockey nets and
other sports equipment, either temporary or permanent, from being
placed or used in the public roadways and in the public rights-of-way.
Basketball poles, nets or hoops of any kind,
soccer or hockey nets and any other similar sports equipment are prohibited
from being used in and on any public street, roadway, right-of-way,
sidewalk curb area or tree apron within the Borough of Gibbsboro.
It shall be the duty of the Borough of Gibbsboro
Police Department to enforce the provisions of this article.
