No deed, mortgage, bill of sale, conditional contract of sale, bond
or other instrument that may be filed for record in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Wicomico County shall be admitted to record unless
the signature of any signer thereon, whether in the capacity of a party, witness
or otherwise, shall be made above the printed or typewritten name of such
signer, provided that this section shall not apply to the signature of a Justice
of the Peace or notary public thereon.
