All deeds of any type and conveyances of real property where the City of Franklin is the grantor shall be in statutory form, approved by the City Attorney and executed by the Mayor of the city upon the consent of the City Council. No seals or formalities shall be required other than those necessary by state law.
All other official documents to which the city is a party, such as contracts, leases or other similar documents, shall be executed by the Mayor, City Manager or such other city official as the Council may designate in granting its approval for the city to become a party to such a document.
