The purpose of this section is to establish policies and procedures for the collection of a donation associated with the performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor or the Deputy Mayor.
Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor of the Borough of Haledon shall remit a donated fee of $100 directly to one of the following three organizations:
A. 
Haledon Fire Department.
B. 
Haledon Emergency Ambulance Association.
C. 
Haledon Recreation Department.

The following fees shall be charged accordingly:
A. 
Biodegradable leaf bags: $0.40 per bag.
B. 
Disposal of passenger car tires: $5 per tire.
C. 
Certified copies of vital statistics records: $15 per record.
D. 
Centennial Journal, first edition: $30 per book.
E. 
Centennial Journal, second edition: printing cost per book.
A permit for use of the Roe Street/Braen Memorial Field:
A. 
Fees:
(1) 
Adult League: $1,000.
(2) 
Youth League: $500.
(3) 
Single-day event: 400.
B. 
Section 501(3)(c) nonprofit organizations may apply to the Borough Clerk for a waiver of the fee.
The following fees shall be charged concerning the Police Department:
A. 
Special Police, special duty: $25 per hour.
B. 
Police special duty: $62 per hour ($55 for the officer, $7 admin. fee).
C. 
Special duty, police car: $50 per day.

The following fees shall be charged accordingly:
A. 
Registration fee for Borough-sponsored youth athletic programs: an amount between $30 and $70 per participant.
B. 
The Recreation Committee shall recommend a fee amount for each program to the governing body which shall set said fees by resolution.
