It shall be unlawful in the Township of Independence for any person
under the legal age for purchasing alcoholic beverages to enter any licensed
premises for the sale of alcoholic beverages in the Township of Independence
and attempt to secure, directly or indirectly, or to secure, directly or indirectly,
any alcoholic beverage by purchase or otherwise. Such person is hereby declared
to be a disorderly person.

For violation of any provision of this article, the penalty, upon conviction,
shall be a minimum fine of $100 and a maximum penalty of one or more of the
following: a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment not exceeding 90 days
or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days. Except as otherwise
provided, each and every day in which a violation of any provision of this
article exists shall constitute a separate violation.
