[HISTORY: Adopted by Township Council of the Township of
Jefferson 2-3-2010 by Ord. No. 2-10. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person under 18 years of age shall remain in or upon public
streets, highways, roads, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds
or public places within the Township of Jefferson after 9:00 p.m.
prevailing time on the 30th and 31st days of October in each year.
No person shall be subject to violation of this provision if the person
is accompanied by a parent or guardian of such person or by an adult
specifically authorized by the parent or guardian of such individual
to accompany said individual for a designated period of time or purpose
within a specified area.
Any person found in violation of this chapter shall be subject
to a fine not exceeding $200 offense, and a fine not exceeding $500
for any subsequent offense, or a period of community exceeding 10
days, or any combination thereof.
