The owner or lessee of real property in the
Township of Jefferson on which there is located a shopping center,
a multiple dwelling containing three or more units or commercial establishments
shall remove or cause to be removed snow and/or ice from all of the
private streets, highways, lanes, alleys and parking lots which are
opened to or to which the public is invited to use within six hours
of daylight after the same shall have fallen or be formed thereon.

The enforcement of this article shall be under
the supervision of the Director of the Department of Public Works
who shall cause suitable inspections to be made, where appropriate,
relative to compliance with this article and/or to investigate complaints
relative to noncompliance with this article. The Director of the Department
of Public Works or any police officer of the Township of Jefferson
may file complaints in the Municipal Court of the Township of Jefferson
for all violations of this article.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or to
imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 90 days,
or both, in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge before whom
such conviction shall be had.
