[Adopted 9-20-1945]
An office to be known as "Superintendent of
Streets, Parks, Jetties and Bulkheads of the Borough of Longport,
New Jersey," is hereby created.
The duties of said Superintendent shall be such
as are necessary for the proper supervision, maintenance, repair and
upkeep of the streets, parks, jetties and bulkheads in the Borough
of Longport, under the control and direction of the Director of the
Department of Public Works, Parks and Public Property. Said Superintendent
shall make such reports of the conditions of the streets, parks, jetties
and bulkheads and of his work in connection therewith to the Director
of Public Works, Parks and Public Property as said Director may require.

The salary of said Superintendent shall be established
from time to time by the Board of Commissioners.
