§ 129-1 Enumeration of prohibited acts.

No person shall vagrantly loiter, lounge or sleep in or on the streets, sidewalks, boardwalk, public pavilions, public parks, beaches or other public places in the Borough of Longport, or obstruct the passage of persons on any boardwalk, sidewalk, street or other public places with boxes, crates, baskets, stands, wares, merchandise or with a rolling chair or chairs or any vehicle; and no persons shall utter loud, offensive, indecent or profane language, nor address nor make audible and offensive remarks or comments upon or to any persons passing along or being on or in any of such streets, sidewalks, boardwalks, public pavilions, public parks, beaches or other public places, or on or in property, public or private, nor obstruct or interfere with any person or persons lawfully being on or upon any streets, sidewalks, boardwalks, public pavilions, public parks, beaches or other public places, nor while in or upon any highway, sidewalk, boardwalk, public park, beach or other public place accost or annoy any person or persons upon such place by begging or soliciting alms or by soliciting him or them to hire vehicles, engage boarding or hotel accommodations, purchase tickets of admission to visit or view amusements, shows or exhibitions; and no person shall revel, quarrel, brawl or otherwise misbehave in a disorderly manner to the disturbance or annoyance of the peaceable inhabitants of the Borough of Longport, nor be guilty of any other disorderly conduct in or on the streets, sidewalks, boardwalks, public pavilions, public parks, beaches or other public places.

§ 129-2 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.

§ 129-3 Injury or unauthorized use prohibited.

Any person who shall willfully or maliciously break, injure or otherwise destroy or damage any of the posts, wires, towers or other materials or fixtures employed in the construction or use of any line of a television coaxial cable or a microwave radio system or a community antenna television system, or willfully or maliciously interfere with such structure so erected, or in any way attempt to lead from its uses or make use of the electrical signal or any portion thereof properly belonging to or in use or in readiness to be made use of for the purpose of using said electrical signal from any television coaxial cable company or microwave system or a community antenna television system or owner of such property, shall be a disorderly person.

§ 129-4 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
