[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Mansfield 6-7-1943. Amendments noted where applicable.]
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, corporation, partnership or association to conduct, maintain or operate within the Township of Mansfield, in the County of Burlington, any business or businesses for the slaughtering, rendering or storing of dead animals of every kind and description or to maintain, operate and conduct a tannery, glue or bone factory or any bone-boiling establishment or factory for the tanning, dressing, preparing or treating of skins, hides or leather.

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 90 days or to a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or to such combination of punishments as the Municipal Judge may, in his or her discretion, deem appropriate and just.
This chapter shall take effect upon its proper publication according to law.
