GENERAL REFERENCES
Officers and employees — See Ch. 45.
The salaries and compensation of the officers and employees
of the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights shall be set forth, from time
to time, by ordinances of the Mayor and Council. Copies of the currently
effective salary ordinances are on file in the office of the Borough
Clerk and are available for examination during office hours.
Any employee of the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights shall have
the option to request that his or her salary be deposited in a specific
banking institution in a designated checking account, savings account,
or share account. When the employee shall indicate in writing to the
proper disbursing officer his or her desire to have his or her net
pay deposited, the disbursing officer shall make the deposit in the
respective banking institution on behalf of the employee. Such employee
shall have the further option to amend and/or rescind such direction
from time to time as he or she wishes upon further written notice
to the proper disbursing officer.
