No person shall place on or in or throw into a public way, the sidewalk of a public way or public alley, filth, rubbish, garbage, refuse, bottles, cans or other substance except as provided by the rules and regulations of the Board of Health relative to the collection of rubbish and garbage.[1] Whoever violates any provision of this By-Law shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of $250.

A. 
No person shall place on or in or throw into any public property, filth, rubbish, garbage, refuse, bottles, cans or other substance except as provided by the rules and regulations of the Board of Health relative to the collection of rubbish and garbage.[1]

B. 
Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this By-Law shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of $300.
