[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cazenovia 1-20-1965 by L.L. No. 1-1965 (Ch. 12 of the 1965 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CLERK
The Clerk of the Board of Trustees and Village of Cazenovia, New York.
MAYOR
The Mayor of the Board of Trustees.
PERSON
Includes any individual, firm, copartnership or corporation or other entity capable of being sued.
VILLAGE
The Village of Cazenovia, New York.
No person shall make, aid or assist in making any riot, noise, disturbances or improper diversion or behave in an indecent or disorderly manner in the streets or in any public place or on any private premises or elsewhere in the Village of Cazenovia.
No person shall write, make, draw or paint any writing, printing, picture, marks or device of any kind on any sidewalk, tree or shrub, curb, pavement, street, lamppost pole, public fixture or structure or building in this Village, or stick, fasten or post any placard, bill or paper thereon except the posting and affixing of notices required by law.
No person shall injure, deface, or tarnish any public building or any property belonging to the Village in any manner whatsoever; nor shall any person wantonly or willfully injure, cut, deface, tarnish or besmear any wall, pump, hydrant, fountain, bridge, fence, railing, house or other building, or any part thereof, nor any useful or ornamental structure or any shade tree or shrub within the Village of Cazenovia.
Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a maximum fine of $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
