The Town Board of the Town of Crawford herewith designates the Planning Board of the Town of Crawford as the agency charged with the administration of the State Environmental Quality Review Act.[1]

The Planning Board shall have the authority to make rules and regulations governing application for environmental impact studies and compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act. The Planning Board shall have the authority to prepare application forms for the matters to be reviewed by it.
The authority of the Planning Board shall be limited to those uses of property designated as "Type 1" in Section 617.12 of the State Environmental Quality Review Act enacted pursuant to § 8-0113 of the Environmental Conservation Law.[1]

In the event of a dispute between the Planning Board and an applicant as to a decision on an environmental impact study, the matter shall be referred to the Town Board for decision and resolution.
