The position of Clerk to the Board of Assessors is hereby created.
The Clerk to the Board of Assessors shall have the duty of assisting
the Board of Assessors in performance of all acts and duties reposed in the
Board of Assessors and in connection therewith shall examine all permits issued
for the improvement and construction of real property and shall ascertain
and keep a record of all transfers of real property in the city and shall
assist the Board of Assessors in the performance of the duties of said Board
of Assessors.

The position of Assessor is hereby created.
The Assessor shall have the duty of placing valuation on each parcel
of real property in the city for tax purposes and preparing an annual assessment
roll and performing related work, as may be required.
