The total amount of compensation paid to the
Tax Collector for the collection of Borough taxes levied for the following
fiscal year's taxes shall be:

The compensation of the Mayor of the Borough
of Chambersburg shall, effective September 1, 1997, be at the rate
of $5,625 per year, payable in monthly installments of $468.75 per
month.

The compensation of the President of the Borough
Council of the Borough of Chambersburg shall, effective September
1, 1997, be at the rate of $5,625 per year, payable in monthly installments
of $468.75 per month.

The compensation of each member of the Borough
Council of the Borough of Chambersburg, other than the President of
the Borough Council, shall, effective September 1, 1997, be at the
rate of $4,125 per year, payable in monthly installments of $343.75
per month.
