Editor's Note: Addendum No. 7 to this agreement was adopted 10-13-1992 by Ord. No. 138-1992. A consolidated amendment to this agreement was adopted 7-11-1995 by Ord. No. 162-1995. Both the text of the addendum and of the amendment are on file in the office of the Township Secretary.
For the reasons set forth in the recitals contained in the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement, which is attached hereto,[1] the proposed agreement by and between the Township of East Bradford and the Borough of West Chester is hereby approved in the form presented to this meeting; the appropriate officers of this township are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the agreement with the above-mentioned party in the form approved herein, and any actions of the appropriate officers of this township with respect to the execution and delivery of this agreement are hereby ratified.

The township's proper officers are hereby authorized and empowered on its behalf to take such action and execute such documents as they may deem necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this ordinance. The Township Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to deliver to the other party of said agreement certified copies of this ordinance.
If any sentence, clause, section or part of this ordinance is, for any reason, found to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, such unconstitutionality, illegality or invalidity shall not affect or impair any other remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, sections or parts of this ordinance. It is hereby declared as the intent of the Board of Supervisors of the Township of East Bradford that this ordinance would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid sentence, clause or section or part thereof not been included herein.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting or inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
This ordinance will become effective December 13, 1983.
