An independent auditor shall be appointed annually before the close
of a fiscal year to make an independent examination of the accounting records
of the Borough for such fiscal year in accordance with Section 1005(7) of
the Borough Code[1] and to perform other duties and to exercise the powers as conferred
upon said independent auditor by the Borough Code.
