Duties of firemen — See Ch. 14.
The Glenolden Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association of Glenolden,
a Pennsylvania corporation of the First Class, incorporated by the Court of
Common Pleas of Delaware County on November 17, 1930, under the Act of 1874,
as supplemented and amended[1] is recognized and declared to be the relief fund association of
the Fire Department of the Borough of Glenolden, engaged in the service of
said Borough.

The said Glenolden Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association, through
its duly designated officers, is entitled, empowered and authorized to receive
all amounts apportioned or paid to the Borough or to the Borough Treasurer
under the Act of 1929, P.L. 709, as supplemented and amended from time to
time,[1] with reference to the distribution of tax on foreign fire insurance
premiums; and all such amounts so apportioned or payable, whether now accrued
or hereafter accruing, are hereby appropriated to the said Association; and
the Borough Treasurer, immediately upon receipt thereof, is hereby authorized
and directed to pay any such amount so received by him to the said Association,
through its duly designated officers.
