Article I Meetings

§ 12-1 Time and place; exceptions. [1]

The Board of Commissioners of the township shall meet at the Township Building in the Township of Marple, Sproul and Springfield Roads, Broomall, Pennsylvania, at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month, unless otherwise publicly announced, or unless that day shall be a legal holiday, in which case the meeting shall be held the first day thereafter which is not a legal holiday, at the same time and place.

Article II Compensation

§ 12-2 Annual salaries fixed.

Beginning on the first day of January 1976, the compensation of all Township Commissioners of the Township of Marple elected or appointed after the adoption of this chapter shall be the maximum amount permitted as the General Assembly may from time to time determine, except as restricted by the provisions of Section 603 of the First Class Township Code.[1]
