It shall be unlawful for any person or persons,
business, corporation or association to deposit, place, dump or maintain
trash, rubbish, grass clippings, yard waste, snow or other debris
within any public street, roadway or alley within the Township. The
depositing of leaves, in accordance with the Marple Township leaf
recycling program, is exempt from the regulations of this section.
The provisions of this article shall be strictly
enforced by the Marple Township Police Department and the Department
of Code Enforcement or duly authorized agents thereof.
Any person, corporation or business who shall
violate a provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof,
be subject to a maximum fine of $1,000, plus costs of prosecution,
and, in default of payment such fine and costs, imprisonment for a
term not exceeding 30 days.
