The Town Council hereby adopts the Caroline County Erosion and Sediment Control Act, as it is amended from time to time. The County Commissioners of Caroline County are responsible for administering and enforcing the Caroline County Erosion and Sediment Control Act, as applicable, on properties located within the Town boundaries of Denton, and any future extensions thereof, and, as applicable, with regard to residents living within said Town limits.[1]

Editor's Note: The Caroline County Erosion and Sediment Control Act was originally adopted by the Board of County Commissioners 4-14-1987 by Bill No. 87-1 and included in the Code of Caroline County Maryland as Ch. 103. The Board of County Commissioners repealed former Ch. 103 on 11-18-2014 and adopted a new Erosion and Sediment Control Act by Bill No 2014-6. See Chapter 103, entitled "Erosion and Sediment Control" of the Code of Caroline County, Maryland.
