In addition
to any other legal requirements or prohibitions, the residency requirements
for the offices of Village Clerk, Deputy Village Clerk, Village Treasurer,
Deputy Village Treasurer and Park Maintenance Worker and Recreational
Leader shall provide that such persons need not be residents of the
Village of Perry but must be residents of the County of Wyoming or
any abutting or adjacent county.
B.Â
Any full-time employee of the Village of Perry Police Department need not be a resident of the Village of Perry, but shall be required to live within 25 miles of the Village of Perry. The Chief of Police shall maintain residency in either the Village of Perry, Town of Perry or the Town of Castile. This requirement is effective six months from the date of hire or from the adoption date of this Subsection B.
