This article is enacted pursuant to Real Property
Tax Law § 458 (5), as the same may be amended from time
to time.
The Assessor for the Village of Lawrence is
hereby directed to increase or decrease the amount of eligible funds
veterans exemptions, as a result of a revaluation or update of assessments,
by multiplying the amount of the exemption by the change in the level
of assessment for the Village of Lawrence, as determined by and certified
by the New York State Office of Real Property Services, pursuant to
the rules of said office.
