The speed limit for both directions of traffic along all Village streets or parts thereof is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except as set forth in Schedule X (§ 322-58).
A.
No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of 15 miles per hour in the areas described in Schedule I (§ 322-49), during school days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
B.
The provisions of this section shall not apply to
any law enforcement officer while engaged in the performance of his
duties; nor shall the provisions of this section apply to any Fire
Department vehicle responding to a fire or emergency.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 322-50), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule III (§ 322-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule IV (§ 322-52), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The intersections described in Schedule V (§ 322-53), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule VI (§ 322-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
A.
The Board of Trustees is hereby authorized and empowered
to designate from time to time streets from which heavy vehicles shall
be excluded, which said streets shall be conspicuously designated
by a proper sign or signs. This exclusion shall not be
construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other
properties along the street from which such vehicles and combinations
are excluded.
B.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a heavy
vehicle upon or along said street or streets.
