A. 
The several acts and offenses set forth in this section are hereby prohibited, and any person found guilty of any of them shall be subject on each conviction thereof to the fine and penalty provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.
(1) 
No person shall disturb the quiet of the borough or of any lawful assembly of persons or any neighborhood, family or person within the borough by any loud or unnecessary noise or by shouting or by using any profane, indecent or obscene language or by any indecent conduct whatever or by quarreling, assaulting or fighting or otherwise disturbing the public peace.
(2) 
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw any stones, sticks or any hard, dangerous or offensive substances in or into any street, byway or any public or private place or at any train, bus, vehicle, airplane, house, building, sign, fence, streetlight or window within the limits of the borough.
(3) 
No person shall deposit or cause or permit to be deposited or remain after deposit sticks, stones, logs, tree stumps, debris, dirt, garbage, refuse or other material of any kind in any manner on any public or private way, body of water, watercourse or premises in the borough or so that such material may be carried on or into any such way, body of water or watercourse or premises by the elements.
(4) 
No person, being the owner, lessee, agent, tenant or occupant, shall allow or permit any accumulation of garbage, manure, offal, rubbish, debris, stagnant water or any filthy liquid or substance or anything that is or may become putrid or offensive as a common nuisance to be or remain upon his yard, lot or premises.
(5) 
No person, being an owner, lessee, tenant, agent or occupant, shall permit the premises under such person's control to be maintained in an unsanitary, unsafe or hazardous condition, and every such owner, lessee, tenant, agent or occupant shall maintain his yard or premises in a clean, safe and wholesome condition.[1]

(6) 
No person shall throw, put or place or cause or permit to be thrown, put or placed into, upon or within any public street or place snow or ice or any other substance whatsoever, whereby the safe, free or unobstructed use of the same by the public may in any way be impeded or interfered with.
(7) 
No person shall play for money or other valuable thing, cards, dice or any other game of chance or skill by whatever name known, except as provided by law.
(8) 
No person shall habitually or otherwise buy or sell what is commonly known as "pool" or any interest or share in any such pool upon or relating to any sporting event or other occurrence, nor shall any person make or take what is commonly known as a "book" or engage in bookmaking upon the running, pacing or trotting, either within or without this state, of any horse, mare, gelding, dog or bitch or other sporting event or conduct the practice commonly known as "bookmaking" or "pool selling" or keep a place to which persons may resort to for engaging in any such practices or for betting upon the event of any horse race, dog race or other sporting event.
(9) 
No person being under the influence of intoxicating liquor shall loiter in any public or quasi-public place or in or upon any private property not his own within the borough.[2]

(10) 
No person shall nail, tack, paste, draw or in any manner affix any advertisement or any notice of any kind or description on any tree, streetlight or pole in, upon or within any street, and no person shall place, post, mark, draw or assist in the same or cause to be placed, posted, marked or drawn upon any fence, billboard, door, wall, window, building, pavement or any other surface exposed in or from any street or place any indecent or profane picture, drawing, writing or representation.
B. 
Upon complaint in writing an oath or affirmation being made before the Borough Judge or such other proper officer of the violation of any of the offenses under this section, the borough Judge may hear, try and determine according to law all offenses charged thereunder, and he is hereby empowered, upon default of payment of any fine imposed by him under this section, to imprison the person so defaulting in the county jail for a period not exceeding the period of imprisonment provided for in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.[3]

No person shall raise a false alarm of fire.
No person shall willfully, during a fire or at any other time, drive, draw or wheel any vehicle over any hose or other apparatus belonging to the Fire Department.
Any person who has in his possession, custody or control any engine house key or other property belonging or appertaining to the Fire Department shall, upon demand, deliver it to the Chief of the Fire Department.
No person who has not been duly authorized to do so by the Borough Council, except a member of the Fire Department acting in the discharge of his duties, shall open or tamper with any water hydrant.
No person shall knowingly and willfully resist or oppose any police or other officer of the state, county or borough when such officer is making an arrest or serving any writ or other process or intentionally obstruct or hinder any such officer in the performance of his duty or refuse or neglect to assist any such officer, when lawfully required to do so by him, in making an arrest or in the suppression of a breach of the peace.
