The "Bylaws of the Borough of Oceanport" adopted pursuant to § 72-8, and referred to as the "bylaws" or "rules," are established to work in conjunction and compliance with the laws set forth in state statutes, and such law is not necessarily restated herein.
The Borough of Oceanport's bylaws, adopted by
resolution of the Mayor and Council on September 21, 2006, are hereby
designated as the bylaws of the Borough of Oceanport and shall be
used as a guide and reference for all Borough officials of the Borough
of Oceanport.
The governing body of the Borough of Oceanport
is hereby charged with promulgation and enforcement of the bylaws
and with recommending timely changes to the manual containing them.
Such changes to the manual shall be made by resolution.
