The Borough Treasurer and Tax Collector are
hereby authorized and directed to collect from any payee whose check
to the Borough of Oceanport has been returned unpaid a fee of $20
for each check returned to the Borough. Said fee shall be collected
for any check returned, whether by stop payment, insufficient funds,
uncollected funds or any other reason. Further, said fee shall be
collected for any returned check to any department, division or other
branch of government of the Borough of Oceanport.
