Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 59:8-1 et seq., the portion of the Tort Claims
Act relating to claims against public entities and specifically pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 59:8-3, there shall be no action brought against a public entity
under the Tort Claims Act unless the claim upon which it is based shall have
been presented in accordance with the procedure set forth in the chapter on
claims against public entities.
A.Â
The Borough of Paulsboro has developed a form to be utilized
by parties that wish to file a claim pursuant to N.J.S.A. 59:8-3 of the Tort
Claims Act. Said form complies with N.J.S.A. 59:8-4 wherein the requirements
of the contents of the claim are fully set out.
B.Â
Any and all parties that wish to file such a tort claim
against the Borough of Paulsboro are to utilize the form developed by the
Borough.
C.Â
Said form can be obtained at the Borough Hall in the
Borough of Paulsboro.
