Edge 3-6-1978 as Ord. No. 714. Amendments noted where applicable.]
An employee or officer of the borough who shall be injured or disabled
resulting from or arising out of his employment and who is receiving Workmen's
Compensation insurance payments shall be granted a leave of absence for a
period not to exceed one (1) year when the injury or disability has been certified
to by the examining physician of the borough. The officer or employee shall
be compensated at his regular salary less any Workmen's Compensation Insurance
payments received by the officer or employee.
This chapter to be retroactive to January 1, 1978, by order of the Mayor
and Council of the Borough of River Edge.
