There is hereby established the office of Municipal
Court Judge of the Municipal Court of the Borough of Seaside Heights.
The Municipal Court Judge shall be appointed
by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Borough Council.
Said Municipal Court Judge shall serve for a term of three years from
the date of appointment, or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Any appointment to fill a vacancy not caused by the expiration of
term shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term only.
The Municipal Court Judge shall be an attorney-at-law
of New Jersey, admitted to practice for not less than five years.
The Municipal Court Judge shall have all the
powers and duties as prescribed by N.J.S.A. 2B:12-1 et seq.
