No alcoholic beverages shall be permitted in or about John F. Kennedy Park, except by permission of the governing body.
Permits for all groups must be obtained from the Recreation Commission in City Hall at least 48 hours prior to the contemplated use of the park. A "group" or "organization" is defined as a collective number of persons, being 10 or more in number, whether related or unrelated, participating in an organized activity or outing involving the use of Kennedy Park.
No campers or camp trailers shall be allowed in the park at any time.
No animals shall be allowed in the park at any time.

Kennedy Park shall be closed to all persons from sunset to sunrise, as defined by the National Weather Service.

Any person violating the terms of this article shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court of the City of Somers Point, be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 90 days or fined in an amount not exceeding $1,000 or be subject to a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination of the foregoing.
