[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Council (now City Council) of the Town (now City) of Glenarden 10-12-1976 as Ch. 9 of the 1976 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
There is hereby adopted the Health Ordinances for Prince George's County, Maryland, to be and to continue in effect throughout the City. It is the intent of the Mayor and Council that any amendments made to the county ordinances by the County Council shall become effective in the City on the same day that the amendments become effective elsewhere in the county.
The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by the Code Enforcement Officer in cooperation with the Chief Health Inspectors of Prince George's County or any of their duly authorized representatives.

Any person who violates this chapter or any lawful order issued by the Code Enforcement Officer or Prince George's Health Inspectors in pursuance of thereof or commits any of the acts declared to be unlawful by the Health Ordinances of Prince George's County, Maryland, shall be guilty of a municipal infraction and shall be punishable as provided in § 1-20B of this Code.
