Cable television — See Ch. 100.
The Borough Council of the Borough of Monaca authorizes the Borough
Council President to execute and the Borough Manager/Secretary to attest and
seal, on behalf of the Borough of Monaca, a cable television franchise agreement
with Adelphia Cable T.V., Inc., a true and correct unsigned copy of which
is attached hereto.[1]

Following the signing, attestation and sealing of the agreement by both
parties, a duplicate original counterpart of the agreement shall be appended
to this ordinance and shall be considered to be merged herein and part hereof
as if the contents were more fully set forth at length in this ordinance.[1]

The effective date of the agreement shall be the date this ordinance
is ordained, enacted and made effective.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed to be repealed hereby.
This ordinance is adopted pursuant to Pennsylvania law and the authority
given to the franchising authority under the Cable Act of 1992 and the regulations
adopted by the FCC thereunder. If any portion of this ordinance shall become
invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity and/or unenforceability shall not
affect the validity and enforceability of the remainder of this ordinance
and the same shall be interpreted as if the invalid or unenforceable provision
were not a part hereof.
