GENERAL REFERENCES
Fire prevention — See Ch. 81.
The short title of this ordinance shall be the "Palmer Township Fire Fighting Control Ordinance."

No person, partnership, corporation or organization shall interfere with or participate in any way in fire fighting activities or respond to any alarm of fire unless such person, partnership, corporation or organization is requested to so participate or respond by the Fire Commissioner of Palmer Township, or by the ranking officer of the Palmer Municipal Fire Department, or unless such person is a member of the Palmer Municipal Fire Department or an officer or employee of Palmer Township or the Pennsylvania State Police.
Nothing contained in this ordinance shall be construed to prevent any individual person or industrial fire brigade from engaging in fire prevention or in emergency fire fighting prior to the arrival of the Palmer Municipal Fire Department at the scene of a fire.

A. 
Any person, partnership, corporation or organization who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance, or any person, partnership, corporation or organization who takes part in or assists in any way in any such violation, shall be liable upon conviction before any Alderman, District Magistrate or Justice of the Peace, to pay a fine or penalty to the Township of Palmer, and for the use of the Township of Palmer, in an amount not to exceed $600 or be sentenced to imprisonment in the county prison not exceeding 30 days, as provided by law.
B. 
Each day of violation of the particular code or ordinance applicable shall be considered a separate offense, for which the fines and penalties stated herein may be imposed on a daily basis.
