A.
The City Treasurer and other appropriate city officials
are hereby authorized to charge a bad check fee of $25 for each returned
or dishonored check paid to the city.
B.
The bad check fee shall be in addition to any and
all other lawful costs of collection, authorized by the Uniform Commercial
Code or other statutes, ordinances or regulations, including but not
limited to court costs or attorney's fees.
C.
All moneys collected from the bad check fee shall
be deposited into the general city fund account, fines/forfeits/miscellaneous.
