Editor's Note: Former § 237-1, Permit required;
liability of user, was repealed 11-29-2022 by Ord. No. 37-2022, effective
1-1-2023.
No person shall permit any obstruction or material
to remain within such close proximity to any public fire hydrant so
as to interfere with access to and the free use of such hydrant by
the Bureau of Fire.
It shall be unlawful for any person to maliciously,
willfully or wantonly break, stop-up or open the spouts of any of
the public hydrants which the city has the right to use or otherwise
injure or damage such hydrants.
