Editor's Note: Former Art. II, Business License, as amended,
was repealed 11-29-2022 by Ord. No. 37-2022, effective 1-1-2023.
No taxicab for public use in the transportation
of passengers for compensation within the limits of the city, or from
points within the city to points beyond the city limits, shall be
operated unless a license therefor has been obtained from the Department
of Public Safety by the owner, lessee or bailee of such taxicab.
