At the time of filing, all plats shall be accompanied by a check
payable to Swatara Township in the amount specified herein to fully
cover the cost of reviewing the proposed plans and required data.
A.
The Board of Commissioners shall establish by resolution
a Schedule of Fees to be paid by the subdivider at the time of filing
a preliminary or final plat.
B.
The Schedule of Fees shall be posted in the office
of the Township's Code Enforcement Officer and in such other place
as the Board may designate.
C.
No plat shall be considered by the Board of Commissioners
unless all fees and charges are paid in full.

At the time of filing a subdivision or land development plat,
the applicant shall present a check payable to Swatara Township in
the amount prescribed by the most current fee resolution[1] adopted by the Swatara Township Board of Commissioners
to establish an escrow account. The escrow account shall be replenished
when the account balance reaches the minimum threshold required in
the fee resolution. Failure to replenish the escrow account will result
in the suspension of engineer review and inspection services. Funds
in the escrow account shall be used to cover the reasonable and necessary
costs of:
A.
Reviewing the plat's engineering details.
B.
Inspecting the site layout for conformance with the plat.
C.
Preparing cost estimates of required improvements (as applicable).
D.
Inspecting required improvements during installation.
E.
Final inspection on completion of installation of required improvements.
F.
Other engineering verifications required by this chapter.
A.
Fees for all other professional consultants for reviews
and reports and permits required for and by the Township for opening
roads, connecting to municipal sewers, building construction, etc.,
shall also be paid by a check payable to the Township and/or Municipal
Authority.
B.
The applicant at the time of application shall agree
to cover the cost of advertising the ordinance accepting the deed
of dedication of applicable required improvements and its recording
costs.
C.
At the time of filing, all plats shall be accompanied
by a check payable to the Dauphin County Planning Commission, in the
amount specified by the county, to cover the costs of County Planning
Commission review and report.
