GENERAL REFERENCES
Disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace — See Ch. 200.
No pyrotechnics or fireworks of any type whatsoever shall be used or operated inside of a building in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Pyrotechnics or fireworks shall be defined and include all items defined in 35 P.S. § 1272,[1] a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.[2] A "building" is defined as any structure with a roof or ceiling, even if that roof or ceiling is nonpermanent and removable.

Pyrotechnics or fireworks that are used outside of buildings shall be regulated by the various federal and state laws that govern same, along with the general fire and safety regulations enacted by New Hope Borough.
Any person who uses or causes to be used fireworks or pyrotechnics inside a building in New Hope Borough shall be subject to pay a fine of $1,000 upon a first offense, and $2,000 upon a second or subsequent offense.
