The provisions of this Article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
A. 
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XII (§ 158-46), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B. 
No vehicle shall be parked in front of any private driveway or in front of or within 10 feet, measured along the curb, of the entrance to any theater, auditorium, church or other public building or any firehouse, except for such reasonable time as may be necessary for taking on or discharging of passengers or merchandise.

All-night parking on any of the streets, roads and highways of the Town is prohibited during the period from November 15 to April 1. "All-night parking" is hereby defined as parking between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII (§ 158-47), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 158-48), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XV (§ 158-49) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVI (§ 158-50) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVII (§ 158-51) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XVIII (§ 158-52) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XVIII of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIX (§ 158-53) except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The locations described in Schedule XX (§ 158-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 158-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands.
A. 
The locations described in Schedule XXII (§ 158-56), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops.
B. 
The locations described in Schedule XXIII (§ 158-57), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as commuter parking lots.
All vehicles weighing over 10,000 pounds shall only be allowed to park on public streets in the Town of Haverstraw for a period of up to two hours.
