A person is guilty of public intoxication when
he or she appears in a public place manifestly under the influence
of alcohol or narcotics or any other drug not administered or prescribed
to be taken by a physician to the degree that he or she may endanger
himself or other persons or property or annoy persons in his or her
vicinity.

Any person convicted of violating a provision of this article shall pay such fines as set out in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
I, Penalties.
