The Housing and Property Maintenance Code. Three
copies of the code have been placed on file in the office of the Borough
Clerk for the use of and examination by the public.
A code is hereby adopted establishing minimum
standards governing the condition and maintenance of dwellings and
supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions
essential to ensure that dwellings are safe, sanitary and fit for
human habitation; establishing minimum standards governing the condition
of dwellings offered for rent; fixing certain responsibilities and
duties of owners and occupants of dwellings; the condemnation of dwellings
unfit for human habitation; and the demolition of such dwellings.
