It shall be unlawful for any person to park
any mobile home on any street, road, avenue or highway or other public
place or tract of land within the Borough owned by any person and
occupied or unoccupied, except as provided in this chapter. Emergency
or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any street, avenue,
road or highway for a period of three hours, but no mobile home thus
parked may be used as a dwelling place, abode or sleeping place. Unoccupied
mobile homes may be parked in an accessory garage or in a rear yard,
provided that no living quarters are maintained within the mobile
homes while so parked, nor shall any permit be required or fee be
charged for such parking.
As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
MOBILE HOME
As defined in §
165-32 of Chapter
165, Land Use and Development, of the Code of the Borough of Wharton.
It shall be unlawful for anyone to use a mobile
home as a place of abode or dwelling or sleeping place within the
limits of the Borough without first obtaining a license to do so.
The license may be obtained at the Borough offices from the Borough
Clerk with the consent of the Health Inspector. A fee of $175 shall
be charged per year for each mobile home so licensed.
Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
I, General Penalty.
