It shall be unlawful within any Town park in the Town of Wales, New York, for any person to do any of the following acts hereinafter specified:
A. 
Hours. It shall be unlawful for any reason to enter a park prior to 8:00 a.m. or to remain within a park after the hour of 10:00 p.m.
B. 
Firearms. It shall be unlawful for any person to take or otherwise transport any firearms, air guns, slingshots or bows and arrows in park.
C. 
Preservation of property. It shall be unlawful for any person to injure, deface, disturb or befoul any part of park or any of the buildings, signs, equipment or other property found therein or to remove, injure or destroy any tree, flower, shrub, rock or other minerals. Peeling bark, cutting or injuring trees is prohibited.
D. 
Fires. It shall be unlawful for any person to light any fire for any purpose in any part of a park except in a stove, oven or fire circle provided for that purpose. Lighted matches, cigarettes, cigars or burning tobacco must not be deposited or left where they may cause fires.
E. 
Garage and refuse. Grounds must be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Littering of any kind is strictly prohibited. Garbage and refuse must be deposited in the receptacles provided. Glass containers of any nature are specifically prohibited from the park grounds.
F. 
Dogs. It shall be unlawful for any person to bring dogs into a park unless the same are on leashes and kept on leashes while in the park.
G. 
Hunting, fishing and trapping. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt or trap game or to fish within park boundaries.
H. 
Bathing and swimming. It shall be unlawful for any person to bathe or swim in any of the streams, pools or lakes in the park.
I. 
Gambling. Gambling in parks is prohibited.
J. 
Horses and riders. Horses and their riders are prohibited from using park areas except over bridle paths or other paths established for said purposes. No rider shall travel at a gait in excess of a trot while in the parks, to preserve the safety of the public and to avoid endangering children at play.
K. 
Liquor. Possession of alcoholic beverages of any nature in any quantity is prohibited on park premises except that beer in cans or in larger containers may be authorized within the park by specific permission of the Town Supervisor or his designee. Glass containers of any nature are specifically prohibited from the park grounds.
L. 
Speed limit. No person shall drive or cause to be driven along or over any road within the park any vehicle at a speed or manner which endangers the life or limb of any person, and in no event shall the speed of any vehicle exceed five miles per hour, nor shall any person park or cause to be parked any vehicle at any point where a sign prohibiting parking has been erected. Motorcycles, motor bicycles and motor scooters within the park boundaries are strictly prohibited.
M. 
Commercial enterprises. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell or offer for sale within the parks any property or privilege whatsoever, unless authorized by the Town Board.
N. 
Reservations. Reservations of the shelters, baseball diamonds or other facilities in the Town Park may be made by the Town Supervisor or his designee.

Violation of any of the foregoing rules and regulations shall constitute a violation, and a person guilty of such violation shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
