Whereas, the aforesaid parties[1] are united in their recognition of the importance of the
City of York, as the County seat of York County, and the only city
in York County.

York, the County of York, the Redevelopment Authority of the City
of York, the York County Economic Development Corporation, the York
County Industrial Development Authority and the YorkCounts Organization.

Whereas, the aforesaid parties mutually recognize that the revitalization
of the City of York will curb continuing out-migration and sprawl
and will maximize the use of existing roads, sewer, water and other
infrastructures.

Whereas, the aforesaid parties recognize that the City of York's
Northwest Triangle section has been underutilized and represents an
excellent opportunity to convert a brownfield site into commercial,
industrial and/or residential property.
D.ย
Whereas, the aforesaid parties are united in the desire and intent
to facilitate the revitalization of the Northwest Triangle through
the remediation of this site.
E.ย
Whereas, the aforesaid parties agree that economic development objectives
should conform to the YorkCounts plan and believes that the Northwest
Triangle Initiative meets this threshold.

Whereas, the aforesaid parties have united and declared the Northwest
Triangle Initiative to be York's primary economic development
project.
It is mutually resolved that the aforesaid parties enthusiastically
support the Northwest Triangle Initiative and offer complete support
in the efforts of the Initiative's Advisory Committee to facilitate
and expedite the project financing, land remediation and completion.
